My name is Nicole Thomas...

I am a marketing and supply Chain double major and a entrepreneurship and fashion minor. As a student I am very all over the place in terms of what I like to study but how is constant across the board. I very much like visuals and hand on projects because I am aware that I remember things best by seeing them and being immersed in the topic. In this class specifically I felt that we were able to apply simple writing principles to works like Sherlock Holmes in order to understand them more deeply. As a student I felt that this out of the box approach to literary analysis helped me bring out some of my stronger academic qualities and challenge others. I use mix media in almost anything I do academically and in today's age so many things are based around how we utilize technology to portray a thought, opinion, or story to classmates and the professor. I most often write to convey my message for most classes however in more recent experience online platforms have been a popular choice for me to communicate my ideas in a more exciting way such as this blog site.
